Position Profile:  Business Analyst - Production Accountant

As a Business Analyst - Production Accounting, you will work with our staff to test, support, design and implement our business solution.  Working with our Client’s team members, you will ensure the successful implementation of your projects and may contribute to the overall technical direction of the application. You will work to help clients utilize the proprietary software, and face varying situations daily from our client base.

Move from managing month ends and amendments in tight time crunches in your current position, to supporting and analyzing client’s requirements with an innovative new production accounting software.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·          Relying on your production accounting experience you will:

o         Understand client needs and test software as per these requirements.

o         Analyze software utilization with our clients.

o         Liaise with our Client’s development and support teams.

 

Qualifications:

 

·          Member, Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accounting (CAPPA).

·          Production Allocation – daily or monthly experience.

·          Production Accounting and industry experience.

·          Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).

·          Sharp analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills.

·          Strong computer skills, familiar with Word, Excel and Windows 2000.

·          A team player willing to work in a challenging environment.

·          Possess a keen attention to detail.

·          Ability to work in a highly deadline-oriented environment, managing multiple requests with varying levels of importance.
